Print Week 2020 Southern Banquet
On Thursday, January 23, the Association held our Banquet at a new location, The Madison Event Center in Covington, KY. We saw an increase of 10% in attendance this year! We enjoyed the various printed works that had received Bronze, Silver, and Gold Print Excellence Awards, and voted on the People's Choice Award winner. We took time to congratulate Printer of the Year Steve Fleissner of Model Graphics and William Maxwell recipient JBM Packaging. We also celebrated all of the Print Excellence Award Winners.
During his award acceptance, Steve spoke about where his company has been and the direction it is heading, and he thanked his wife for all of her support over the years by sharing his award with her. Marcus Sheanshang of JBM Packaging spoke about the Fair Chance program that JBM has implemented, which helps incarcerated offenders reintegrate into society and get them back on their feet though career opportunities. It was a great evening and thank you to all who attended.
