As a Mailing Data Specialist, you’ll be joining a growing company with a great team of people. Your expert skills in Microsoft Access, Excel and a variety of other file types will be put to good use in this position. You’ll be working with client databases and assisting with direct mail programs. We’ll train and support you so that you’ll quickly be handling your responsibilities independently, whether that’s in our facility in Miamisburg or your home office. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and database knowledge will allow you to make a quick success of your daily tasks. Working knowledge of BCC Mail Manager is a plus!

Process client data per work order instructions
Process all data accurately and completely within the departmental quality guidelines
Complete assigned job tasks by the target completion date
Communicate with the Director of Digital, Mailing & Wide Format on any delays in job completion
Identify data issues and/or problems in client job and communicate these to the Project Coordinator
Resolve any data issues or problems per the Project Coordinator instructions
Identify any program problems or inconsistencies and communicate these to the Director of Digital, Mailing Services & Wide Format
Determine and implement steps for efficient job processing
Produce all necessary data files, reports, container tags and postage estimate
Acquire expertise in all processing programs
Acquire expertise in USPS postal regulations
Adhere to departmental operating procedures, safety and security procedures and quality guidelines
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Duties performed in this job may require the handling of Protected Health Information or other confidential material. Therefore, the employee is required to follow all policies and procedures outlined in the company’s HIPAA related documentation and are subject to the defined sanctions in the event that they should inappropriately use or disclose confidential material.
Follow all mandated safety protocols and dress codes. High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelor Degree preferred
1-3 years industry experience or equivalent
Proficiency in Excel, Access, dBase, and use of PC’s and laser printers
Advanced level knowledge of various data formats (i.e.: CSV, Flat file, etc)
Intermediate level knowledge of Direct Mail processing steps
High degree of proficiency in both verbal and written communications (English)
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline intensive environment, yet maintain quality
Excellent interpersonal skills and must be team and detailed oriented
Organizational skills
