Best Workplace in the Americas Winners Announced
In the Best Workplace program, companies were evaluated on policies and benefits in the following areas: Communication & Culture, Employee Resources & Benefits, and Safety & Work Environment.
Two of our members won the Best Workplace designation: Phototype (Cincinnati, OH) and Steinhauser (Newport, KY).
Hess Print Solutions (Brimfield, OH) and Hopkins Printing (Columbus, OH) were given the highest honor in this awards program, the Best of the Best designation.
Hopkins Printing was also awarded the Safety Shield designation, the new program where companies are evaluated on OSHA compliance and best safety practices for the printing industry.
For 17 years, the Best Workplace in the Americas award has acted as an acknowledgment of printing industry excellence in human resources practices. Judged by an anonymous panel of human relations professionals from the printing industry, the BWA awards show that companies of any size can excel in their commitment to employees.
This year's honorees will be celebrated at a luncheon awards presentation at the 2018 President's Conference to be held March 4-6 in San Antonio, Texas.
