FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August Grebinski Acquires Print Bind Ship Through IXL Graphics, Inc.,
Transitioning from Operator to Owner of the Commercial Print and Fulfillment Company He Led
The acquisition, effective June 1, 2026, unites Grebinski's print consulting expertise with deep operational knowledge of the business he built.
TAYLOR, Mich., June 19, 2026 — IXL Graphics, Inc. today announced the completed acquisition of Mel Printing, doing business as Print Bind Ship, effective June 1, 2026. The transaction is led by August Grebinski, who previously served as CEO of Mel Printing and will now assume ownership of the business through IXL Graphics, Inc., his commercial print consulting and brokerage firm.
Grebinski's transition from CEO to owner represents a vote of confidence in the business and its people. Having led Print Bind Ship's day-to-day operations firsthand, he brings an uncommon depth of operational knowledge to the ownership role — with a clear vision for growth, investment, and long-term stability for customers and staff alike.
Print Bind Ship is a full-service commercial printer and third-party logistics provider serving publishers, authors, brands, and businesses nationwide. The company offers an integrated suite of services — including print-on-demand, offset printing, binding, finishing, warehousing, and direct-to-consumer fulfillment — all managed under one roof.
"I know this business intimately — the team, the customers, the equipment, and the opportunity ahead. Acquiring Print Bind Ship through IXL Graphics isn't a change in direction; it's a deepening of commitment. We have an exceptional operation here, and I'm excited to invest in it as its owner the same way I drove it as its operator." — August Grebinski, President & CEO, IXL Graphics, Inc.
Print Bind Ship's operations, staff, and customer relationships will continue without interruption under the new ownership structure. The company will continue to operate under the Print Bind Ship brand as part of the IXL Graphics family.

About Print Bind Ship
Print Bind Ship, a dba of Mel Printing, traces its roots to 1959, when Dan and Gina Filkovich founded the company with a single press in Melvindale, Michigan. Upon their retirement, their son Michael Filkovich took over operations in 1975, carrying the family legacy forward through decades of growth. As the business expanded—adding larger printing operations and a fulfillment division—the company outgrew several locations within Melvindale before establishing its current presence across three facilities in Taylor, Michigan.
Today, Print Bind Ship is a full-service commercial printer and third-party logistics provider serving publishers, authors, brands, and businesses nationwide. Specializing in print-on-demand, binding, finishing, warehousing, and direct-to-consumer fulfillment, the company is known for managing complete print-to-delivery workflows as a single-source partner for clients that demand reliability and scale.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, and membership of Graphic Media Alliance, we extend our sincere congratulations to August Grebinski on this exciting accomplishment. Purchasing a company is no small feat, and this milestone reflects years of leadership, dedication, and belief in the future of the graphic communications industry. We wish August and the entire Print Bind Ship team continued success as they embark on this exciting new chapter together.
