Graphic Media Alliance Members Benefit from a National Network of Industry Collaboration

When Graphic Media Alliance members invest in their association, they're investing in far more than regional programs and events. Behind the scenes, GMA is an active member of the Americas Printing Association Network (APAN), a national collaboration of regional printing associations working together to create greater value for members nationwide.

Each year, APAN leaders gather to identify new opportunities, share ideas, and develop programs that no single association could efficiently build alone. Together, the network represents more than 3,000 printing companies and industry partners across the United States, creating one of the industry's strongest collaborative organizations.

Many of the programs GMA members rely on today are strengthened through APAN collaboration, including the Wage + Benefits Survey & Annual Report, Printing Industry Performance Insights benchmarking conducted in partnership with Middle Tennessee State University, Print Access, coordinated government affairs initiatives, strategic industry partnerships, and other shared member resources.

The collaboration doesn't stop there. APAN associations work together to identify emerging trends, negotiate national partnerships, share educational resources, and advocate for policies that benefit the print and graphic communications industry. By pooling expertise from association leaders across the country, members receive access to broader knowledge, stronger programs, and greater buying power than any one organization could provide independently.

Graphic Media Alliance is proud to have played a leadership role within APAN. Following the recent APAN Leadership Conference, Andrew Schall, President of Graphic Media Alliance, concluded his term as APAN Chair and now serves as Past Chair on the organization's Operating Committee, continuing to help guide the network's strategic direction. Jon Krueger, President & CEO of the Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia, now serves as APAN Chair for the coming year, joined by Vice Chair Melissa Jones (Print & Graphic Communications Association), Second Vice Chair Kristen Pillings-Davis (Printing Industry Midwest), At-Large Representative Carrie Epps (Printing Industry of the Carolinas ), and Schall as Past Chair.

Your GMA membership opens the door to something much bigger than a regional association. It connects your company to a nationwide network dedicated to strengthening the future of the printing and graphic communications industry—together.
