Job Description:
The primary function of this position is to put film flats over plates in exposure equipment, pull a vacuum to press flat tightly against the plate, expose the plate with light, remove the plate, and put it through the plate developer equipment.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience is preferred
- Making CTP plates for upcoming jobs
- Remakes as the pressroom needs them
- Maintenance on the plate processer
- Proofreading press sheets and digital dylux’s
- Cutting and folding down digital dylux’s
- Finishing digital back-end work
- Included but not limited to: 3 hole drilling, shrink-wrapping, perfect binding, punching and coiling, running flatbed and 3 knife trimmer
- Running the UV coater and film laminator
Shifts / Pay Rate
- 3rd shift- 12:30am-7:30am
$16-$25/hr
