Job Summary:
Kenwel Printers, a well-established commercial printing and mailing company located in the Clintonville area in Columbus, is looking for an Estimator/Customer Support person with experience in the print industry. The individual will be responsible for preparing estimates, identifying, and working directly with customers - addressing their project needs with a goal to satisfy. The Estimator/Customer Support person will provide customers with expert answers to questions about pricing, paper stock availability and project timelines and communicate details to the production team.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter who works well in team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Outgoing
- Experience in the Graphic Communications/Printing industry
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Sales experience a plus
- Computer experience using print estimating software
- Ability to think quickly and solve problems
- Attention to detail is a must
Essential Responsibilities
- Providing outstanding customer support through both oral and written communications.
- Maintain existing customer relationships and work to develop new customers.
- Prepare and process quotes, orders, and sample requests.
- Communicate with customers and follow-up promptly with quotes, requests, orders, and other tasks.
- Work with sales representatives, administrative staff, production staff, suppliers, and customers on orders and projects, including pricing, technical specifications, and meeting deadlines.
- When appropriate, advise customers on best strategies to achieve their desired outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Learn and be able to communicate with customers about graphic communication, including but not limited to design principles, printing processes, paper options, and postal specifications.
