Valley Publishing Launches Free Webinar Series to Guide Aspiring Authors

Discover the essential steps to successful self-editing, storytelling, and the publishing process—all under one roof.

Valley Publishing, a division of Mays Multimedia, is excited to announce a free monthly webinar series designed to educate, inspire, and support aspiring authors. The series, titled "Navigating the Journey from Writer to Published Author," will kick off on July 2, with additional sessions on August 6 and September 3. Each webinar will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month.

This dynamic and engaging series is tailored to new and emerging writers looking to take the next step in their publishing journey. Each session will focus on critical topics that often challenge new authors, including:

  • The Critical Importance of Self-Editing
  • The Top 7 Mistakes Authors Make—and How to Avoid Them
  • The Art of Storytelling – Developing Memorable Stories and Characters

The webinars are designed to build upon each other, offering a comprehensive pathway toward becoming a successfully published author. In addition to practical insights, participants will learn how Valley Publishing serves as a complete “one-stop” publishing shop, offering support from manuscript to marketing.

Previous sessions have featured Elizabeth Mays, Valley Publishing Innovator, Publisher, and Entrepreneur, who has outlined the full spectrum of publishing services—from manuscript writing and editing to design, printing, and distribution. Also featured is Naomi V. Dunsen-White, Managing Editor and Publishing Coach, who has provided expert advice on manuscript preparation, storytelling techniques, and the importance of beta readers and self-editing.
