Michigan Members: A Limited-Time Opportunity to Take Control of Natural Gas Costs

For our Michigan members, GMA and TogetherSolve have identified a timely opportunity through Michigan’s Gas Customer Choice program that could provide greater certainty when budgeting for natural gas costs.

Natural gas prices move constantly, and businesses on a utility’s standard variable rate can see their supply costs change from month to month, with winter creating the potential for some of the biggest fluctuations. Michigan’s Gas Customer Choice program provides eligible businesses an opportunity to secure a fixed gas supply price for the contract term while their existing utility continues to deliver the gas, read the meter, send the bill, and handle service calls.

The potential benefit goes beyond a more predictable energy bill. Knowing what energy will cost allows businesses to plan with greater confidence and allocate resources toward equipment, employees, inventory, and other investments rather than reserving funds for unexpected energy increases.

There is a limited window for Michigan members to explore this opportunity. If you are interested, we encourage you to contact TogetherSolve as soon as possible to review your current situation and determine whether participation makes sense for your business.

Energy Savings Opportunities Across All GMA Regions

Michigan’s current opportunity is just one part of the larger GMA ENERGY(+) program, powered by TogetherSolve.

Depending on region and location, GMA members can access solutions involving gas and electric procurement, demand response, and green energy programs. TogetherSolve reviews energy invoices and supplier agreements, analyzes sourcing options and market conditions, facilitates competitive supplier bidding, and helps businesses evaluate available offers and contract terms.

The goal is simple: help GMA members make smarter, data-driven energy decisions and identify opportunities to reduce operating costs.

Whether you are in Michigan, Ohio, or Northern Kentucky, it is worth having the conversation. Your current energy bills may contain an opportunity you haven’t explored.
