Turning Energy Costs Into Opportunity: How GMA Members Are Capturing Real Savings Through Demand Response
Energy costs continue to be one of the most unpredictable and impactful expenses facing businesses today. For many Graphic Media Alliance members, that challenge has become an opportunity.
Through GMA’s strategic partnership with TogetherSolve, members are taking a more proactive approach to energy management, unlocking meaningful savings while gaining greater visibility into their usage and long-term cost structure.
Proven Results From 2025
In 2025 alone, GMA members participating in the TogetherSolve program achieved impressive results. Members utilizing the program realized an average annual savings of 26%, with individual savings ranging between 15% and 39%, depending on usage and facility profile. Collectively, participating members have already generated more than $43,000 in annual savings, with a broader $280,000 savings goal established across the GMA community GMA_EnergyPlus_CallToAction_0125.
These outcomes are driven by a combination of strategic energy procurement, real-time monitoring, and participation in Demand Response programs that reward businesses for reducing energy use during peak demand periods.
Why Demand Response Matters Right Now
Demand Response offers a unique opportunity for eligible companies to receive direct financial incentives with minimal operational impact. During brief, infrequent peak demand events, participants temporarily reduce energy consumption and are compensated for their participation.
This is not a future initiative. It is an opportunity available now, with a firm enrollment deadline of March 31, 2026. Companies that wait may miss the window to participate and the associated financial benefits.
More Than Savings: A Strategic Partnership
TogetherSolve brings decades of experience across energy procurement, demand response, and commercial real estate energy strategy. As this partnership continues to evolve, GMA will be announcing new programs and expanded offerings in 2026. Members who engage now are well positioned to benefit from both immediate savings and future opportunities.
In addition to Demand Response, eligible members can receive a complimentary review of their current gas and electric rates, including a side-by-side comparison and implementation plan. The process is simple and requires only a recent utility bill to get started.
Take Action Before the Deadline
GMA strongly encourages members to explore whether Demand Response or energy procurement savings make sense for their operation. The potential upside is significant, and the process is straightforward.
