2026 Wage + Benefits Survey Now Open!

2026 WB

The 2026 Wage + Benefits Survey, conducted by America’s Printing Association Network (APAN) and administered by PIA MidAmerica on behalf of thousands of print and packaging organizations nationwide, officially opens June 1 for participation and will close Friday, July 17, 2026.

Designed specifically for the print and packaging industry, the Wage + Benefits Survey remains one of the industry’s most comprehensive compensation and workforce benchmarking resources, providing insight into wages, benefits, workforce trends, PTO policies, healthcare offerings, shift differentials, and evolving staffing strategies across more than 200 industry positions.

As workforce expectations, operational complexity, and technology continue evolving across the industry, organizations are increasingly seeking more intentional approaches to compensation planning, employee retention, workforce development, and long-term business sustainability.

“In today’s environment, compensation conversations are far more nuanced than simply comparing hourly wages,” said Teresa Campbell, program director and president of PIA MidAmerica. “Organizations are balancing workforce retention, operational realities, benefits, training, transparency, and long-term employee development — often all at the same time. Access to reliable industry-specific benchmarking data helps leadership teams make more informed and sustainable decisions.”

The survey platform allows participating organizations to securely submit and analyze compensation data while benchmarking by region, company size, and industry segment. Features include prior-year data recall, multi-location support, and interactive searchable reporting tools designed to help organizations evaluate workforce trends more strategically over time.

Data gathered through the survey also supports broader workforce development and industry advocacy initiatives, helping demonstrate the strength, complexity, and long-term career opportunities available throughout the print and packaging industry.

The 2026 Wage + Benefits Survey is supported by Significans Automation, a company focused on workflow automation, systems integration, and operational optimization for print and packaging organizations across North America.

Participation in the survey is free, and all submitted information remains confidential and securely aggregated for reporting purposes.
